2016 - Rob

In 2016, the Army Ants returned to the St.Louis Regional during the FIRST Robotics Competition season. Our robot “Rob” was designed to go under the low bar and shoot into the high goal, and was in the 8th seed alliance. The team decided to powder coat the robot for the first time this year, earning us the Quality Award at the St. Louis Regional! The 2016 game was FIRST Stronghold, a medieval themed challenge where teams are grouped into alliances and must work together to cross defenses and score boulders in the castle tower.
